Earthy, grounded, intelligent, common
sense Virgo is a stickler for details. They will always read the small print
before making a decision (and now we have another Mercury retrograde they will
be triple checking!). Ah decisions,
Virgos want all the information available before even thinking about making a
decision. Sometimes this gives them ‘analysis paralysis’, when their brain is
so full of data that they are too ‘full’ or confused to make their decision.
Virgos are practical and dependable.
Work-wise Virgos like structured organizations such as the health service (they
are also nurturers and empathic), the armed forces, universities etc., (where
they can use their analytical skills in research, detailed design, computing
etc). They love bureaucracy and excel at making sense of it.
Virgo’s a loyal, reliable friend who is
great in a crisis. They just need to ensure that they are not being used or
treated like a doormat. Virgos are their own worst critics, they never feel
they are good enough or have done things well enough. Enough already! This Full
Moon lets you know that you are enough; in fact more than enough, you are
fabulous! So celebrate yourself instead of beating yourself up over little
things that in the scheme of things won’t stop the world turning. You have a
mission Virgo, so raise your head, look up and aim for the bigger picture.
ASTROLOGY
SATURN – Taskmaster and loving Cosmic
Teacher Saturn moves from Scorpio (yaay!) into Sagittarius on 17th
September and will remain there until Winter Solstice, Dec 21st
2017. His presence in Sag will really
push us all into living, speaking and being our Truth.

MERCURY – Mercury retrograde really
kicks in on Sept 17th (although the shadow phase has already begun)
and will go on until mid October 2015.
Sagittarians
take note – Taskmaster Saturn moves into your sign at exactly the same time
that communication expert Mercury decides to go backwards. You are going to have to really think before
you speak or act until this Mercury retrograde period ends.
I actually quite enjoy Mercury retrograde
periods, they give me time to slow down and catch up with outstanding
tasks. I’m not so keen on the
communication snafus (when people look at you like you are speaking in an alien
tongue or take instant offence at what you say) or the computer snafus that
tend to happen. However all in all, it’s a great opportunity to slow down and
fix what needs fixing, re-work, re-think, re-organize, realise, re-veal,
reflect, return, re-word and re-phrase (before hitting send!), renewal,
reconciliation, removal, revamp and renovate – ourselves as well as our living
spaces, but most of all re-lax!
ECLIPSE SEASON opens with today’s New
Moon partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo.
Practical Virgo reminds us that summer is over and the new term has
started, so it’s time to get our thoughts, lives and work organized now and
knuckle down.
Eclipses always bring about change
(whether we want that change or not).
Eclipses will shake up what needs shaking up in order to bring about the
much-needed change. It can be scary even
shocking sometimes, you can at times get a real curveball that knocks you
sideways. Or it can be subtler; it all
depends on what you most need at this stage of your life. The good news is that whatever happens there
is something good and pretty darn wonderful that will come out of it. By the end of the Eclipse Season it will all
make sense.
Today’s Eclipse opens the Eclipse window
on your life. Prepare for the
unexpected, as one door closes another will open, Eclipses are all about
endings/beginnings, closings/openings etc.
Whatever happens Eclipses always move us forward and sometimes at a
rapid pace.

I just took a look at mine, and got a
jolt, as I had made a small note of something an astrologer had once said to me
many moons ago “It’s time to come out of
the eccentric hermit into the individual healer.” Ouch. I actually like being an ‘eccentric hermit’ /
wacky witch! However I have been hearing the call and getting the nudge from
Spirit that I am needed out in the world a whole lot more and it’s time to stop
hiding myself away. It’s time to do more
healing and teaching (and writing) again.
I find this quite scary, I am great behind the scenes but not so good
being at the front / centre stage. I
guess that is my lesson to learn during this Eclipse season. What is your lesson to learn?
Interestingly this New Moon Eclipse in
Virgo opposes Chiron (the planet of the wounded healer), which is in emotional,
psychic, Pisces. This Eclipse has a
strong healing emphasis particularly on the Spiritual and etheric levels.
