ASCENSION TIPS February + Feng Shui update

How y’all doing then? Well there has been some post New Year fall-out as setting our good intentions for the year has led to a short, sharp period of clearing old stuff. Here we have noticed an increase in requests for The Healing Prayers Circle which is always another indicator of how people are coping with the energies and what they are coping with. Many are preparing to leave their Earthwalk and cross over, it is as if the Spring Equinox is already pulling a lot of them and I would not be surprised if they will have left by the time the Vernal Equinox comes around. All in all January has been an interesting journey which we continue to ride out during February.

ASCENSION SYMPTOMS

Some have experienced a lot of pain in the body, especially in the neck, middle and lower back. Some have had aching arms and hands, some ankles and feet. Others have had problems with their teeth and mouths. We have been shifting some really old stuff and it has been painful at times to say the least. Thankfully this phase didn’t last long.

However after it ended a lot of us were feeling a bit fuzzy and woolly headed and suddenly seemed to have lost our impetus. This has been frustrating for those who were making great strides with their intentions for this year. But all is not lost yet. As you know these phases come and go as part of our Ascension process. The most important thing is to keep your eye on the prize/goal and keep heading in that direction with an open heart and mind and trusting that the Universe will guide your way. Your energy will pick up again and you will get yourselves back on track, it’s just that sometimes when we shift old stuff we need a little rest, a little period of integration before we get back on track again.

Emotionally some have been through the wringer as they have been sifting and sorting what really has to go in this ‘one’ year and some tough decisions have had to be made. Allow yourselves the space to grieve for what you are leaving behind. You know that you have made the right decision/s, now you need to allow yourself to ride the waves of emotions that are involved until you come out the other side of it all. You already know that you are growing in strength with each decision you make and that you will not regret any of this.

Spiritually a great deal has been happening. After all the hard work and processing last year we have been retuned and are continually being refined like a precious gemstone so that we shine our brightest this coming year. There have been great highs spiritually for some, with a stronger connection and understanding of the messages coming through and feeling as if you really are being looked after by a benevolent, loving force.

Follow the Ascension code for wellbeing as outlined in the ‘Ascension Tips’ book (if you don’t have a copy, contact us for the details) and keep taking your ‘Ascension Support’ essence. I take mine every morning, it seems to settle down all that has gone on in dreamtime (which I have to say has been extremely active this past month) and helps me to feel balanced before I start my day.

Please Note:
These Ascension updates are for information purposes only and are not intended to diagnose any kind of dis-ease or malady you may be experiencing. If you have concerns about your health, I strongly advise you to see a qualified medical practitioner. (Don’t get carried away in spiritual la-la land and override any messages that your body may be trying to give you). If in doubt – check it out!

FENG SHUI DIARIES – Update

Well Chinese New Year is nearly upon us, am I ready – nope! I am getting there but I am not too worried if I don’t quite manage to get everything done. The Chinese New Year festival lasts two weeks so I am sure I will get most of it done by the time this lovely festival ends.

On the eve of Chinese New Year you will need to take down all of last year’s Feng Shui cures and throw out your salt cures (best way is to tip them down the loo and flush away immediately). Some companies say that you shouldn’t re-use last year’s items, well I don’t agree as not everyone can afford to keep buying a new set every year. Washing them thoroughly then smudging them with sage (ensuring you have at least one window open when you do this) will banish any residual negativity, you can also use ‘The Cleanser’ spray mist for this (it’s quicker and easier to use this instead and your house won’t smell of sagey smoke – which I don’t mind actually as I absolutely love the smell of sweet sage).

If you haven’t managed to get everything done, try to ensure that you have at least done these two things; (1) emptied all of your cupboards, fridge/freezer etc of all out of date stuff and disposed of them, (2) thoroughly clean the kitchen especially the cooker before Chinese New Year.

Traditionally the Chinese would never use knives or scissors on Chinese New Year as they believed this would cut their luck for the coming year. So they would prepare all the food in advance and plan foods that could be eaten without needing to be cut.

My favourite tradition (taught to me by a Chinese Malaysian friend) is to use incense to welcome in the Spirits on Chinese New Year, you open your front door and use the incense to usher on the spirits of the New Year. You open the back door and use the incense to welcome in the spirits of your ancestors to share your feast and to provide protection for you and your home for the coming year.

Place a beautiful bowl with 9 oranges (or tangerines/satsumas/clementines) in the centre of your living room and kitchen to welcome in the Chinese New Year, they represent abundance on all levels. Have a lovely Chinese meal and enjoy the blessings this coming year will bring for you.

We have lots of reasons to celebrate this month, so make the most of it and have fun!

Blessings to you all
