Remember that we are now in the Winter moons, this is not the time to launch new ventures or projects or keep pushing - as nothing will happen. It is a time to snuggle and nurture ourselves and our families (and our projects). To catch up with friends, reading and other things that we have been too busy for over the Summer moons. Use the Winter time to enjoy this and think about what seeds you want to sow in the Spring. You can use the Winter moons as planning time ready for when you re-launch yourself during the Spring moons. So light the fire, close the curtains, whip up some Egg Nog and enjoy!
Thank you to everyone who has sent me feedback over the past year regarding this humble monthly offering, it makes it all worthwhile and encourages me to keep this newsletter going. I can only pass on the messages and experiences that come through me in the hope that they will help, I am always so delighted when I do hear about your own experiences, such as this subscriber’s (in response to November’s Ascension Update):-

I became very ill last week for three days. I had no appetite, so I just drank water and slept all as much as my body wanted - which was quite a bit (attributing a great fatigue to Ascension energy). Another coincidence: when my appetite returned, I craved olive oil! I'm much better now. I'm making sure to keep my inner workings clear and conscious. Letting go of old tapes, lightening up. ASCENSION SYMPTOMS
Some of you have already experienced these symptoms and some will continue to do so.
As I have said before, we are on the same path but at different stages, so just take what feels right
for you now, and keep the rest as future reference.
Tiredness
No doubt exacerbated by the build up to Christmas and an eventful year. The energies have also become intense as we build towards the Winter Solstice (always a powerful time). Be careful about absorbing what is going on at the mass consciousness level, as this will drain you. When out Christmas shopping ensure you put a bubble of protection around your aura and put a gold shield in front of your solar plexus. Also make sure you drink plenty of water (carry a little bottle) when shopping, as many people forget to do this then wonder why their back hurts and they are starting to get cranky! When you get back home, before taking off your coats, spray your aura with ‘The Cleanser’ to clear your energy field of all those stressed, hurried, materialistic vibrations. (Well you don’t want to dump that kind of energy in your home do you?!).
Dreaming continues
Many have been receiving personal and global prophetic messages in their dreams. This always increases considerably around the time of the Full Moon. You may find the type of dreams you have now will change, as you are being pulled more by Mother Earth to deeper within during these Winter moons. Spirit has told me that more messages are on the way, that more will be revealed to you so remain as open as you can. (Before dropping off to sleep, ensure you have protected your chakras and placed a bubble of protection around you, then open your heart to God/Goddess, Spirit will do the rest).
Aches and pains
As the Winter Solstice approaches, we are clearing more of the stuck energy/emotions that we no longer need. This is to let go of what we have accumulated over the past year, making clear space for the new energies waiting to come in. This can be a painful process for some. The colder weather also makes us a bit more creaky and achy as we tend to tense up when we feel chilled. Ensure that you wrap up adequately when going out, and be as warm and comfortable as you can at home, so that no stiffness sets in and even though it is Winter, don’t forget to keep drinking water during the day.
I have been working with a book that has produced amazing results for myself and others. It is “Healing Back Pain” by John E Sarno M.D. (available from Amazon or Cygnus Books, www.Cygnus-Books.co.uk). Based on the mind-body connection, it is interesting to read what this Doctor has to say about slipped discs (there’s no such thing) and other matters related to backs, hips, legs, necks, shoulders.
I recently had x-rays to see what was going on with my hip, my doctor thought I may need a hip operation as I had been experiencing severe pain and was having difficulty sitting for any length of time and hardly getting any sleep as I just couldn’t get comfortable. This had been going on for weeks and was getting worse. I wasn’t sure whether my many years of dancing had finally worn this hip out and I wanted to get things checked out before I embarked on the strengthening and flexibility exercises I had been wanting to do.
Being aware of the mind-body connection with these things, I knew that my hip had got a lot worse with the stress of our house move. I started reading this book (and in fact showed it to my doctor) and I used EmoTrance to help me ‘soften and flow and let go’ of whatever was stuck in my hip. Two weeks later I got the all clear, there was nothing structurally wrong with my hip it was more to do with the tendons around it. Miraculously my hip pain disappeared. I only get the occasional twinge and know that that is a trigger that I am not acknowledging stress so I repeat the EmoTrance technique (or do some EFT) and it’s gone again. Even after all these years as a therapist, I am astounded at just how powerful our minds are at controlling our bodies. (And yes, I did need to clear the stuck emotions, and for an entire weekend couldn’t stop crying! But it was worth it as I am now pain free).
Some have been experiencing lower back pain, as the financial pressure increases regarding Christmas. Just agree within your family to keep things a bit more low key this year, some are only buying pressies for the children in the family, some are buying just one thing and hand making little extras. There is nothing nicer than a present that has been handmade with love.
Headaches
Mainly due to people not drinking enough water as the weather is colder. Ensure that any water you drink is warm/room temperature and not cold. The only other headaches will no doubt be due to the upcoming Festivities!

Cold Symptoms
These continue yet as usual don’t really develop into much. Keep your immune system boosted with nourishing foods (my favourite is homemade butternut squash and sweet potato soup to which I add a good squirt of Echinacea tincture). Nasal problems will be to do with clearing Third Eye congestion. Aching necks (which feel like the sinus route) are a part of the psychic clearing that is going on. And yes, there are seasonal bugs around, so keep boosting your immune system with herbs and good foods and don’t forget to tap your thymus regularly!
Stomach upsets and IBS symptoms
These have increased again as part of the clear out before Winter Solstice. What are you no longer able to stomach? Is fear causing you to tense up and not be able to assimilate properly? Pace yourself regarding the rich seasonal fare that will be on offer, ensure you balance that with plenty of fresh fruit and veggies and keep drinking water to keep your system working smoothly. The stress and busyness of the Festive Season can play havoc with our digestions, pace yourself and find time (even five minutes) when you can close your eyes and breathe in calm and breathe out tension.
Chakra issues
Pressure in the crown and third eye chakras continues, you may have experienced slight pain or pressure like symptoms down the sides of the face and experienced tension in your jaw. You may also have experienced blocked ears, like that which you experience when flying in an aircraft. Draw white light down to clear your central channel and flush your energy system with silver rain. This will help with any headaches in these areas. Your fontanel area on the top of the head may also feel tender, as the Soul Star chakra above your head expands during these clearing and realignment periods.
Many have been experiencing twinges like indigestion in the heart chakra area. As more truth is revealed, our heart strings are greatly pulled by what we are seeing and hearing in our world these days. This time of year is when our hearts most need to open, to offer help and love to those with less than ourselves and those in need. The Festive Season is always a trigger time for heart issues, particularly in personal relationships and family relationships. Each year we are given a chance to heal another part of our past, to help our inner child move on.
Forgiveness
Forgiveness is such a mixed bag. Yet this is the time of year when we can all forgive and forget and clean the slate before the new year commences. We need to forgive ourselves for what we did or didn’t do over the past year – and then let it go – stop beating yourself up about it/them/what happened, it actually doesn’t matter any more because it is in the past. It is time to stop blaming politicians, banks, whatever, as that only attracts more of the same. Forgive them and move on to a more positive, abundant way of thinking and you will be able to turn things around. Forgive those who have left the Earth plane this year, it is hard to be left behind and at this time of year you miss them more acutely. Treat yourself kindly, treasure the memories of your time with them and let them love and guide you from where they now are.
FOCUS FOR THE MONTH AHEAD:
Peace
It’s what this time of year is all about.
Every day close your eyes, focus on your Heart centre and (silently) say three times
slowly “Peace”. Practice it on the in breath and out breath.
Bring peace into every day – whatever is going on.
Movement
The Winter moons make us feel stiff because of the cold winds and damp. Do some kind of movement each day to keep your body supple and to avoid energy blocks. Walk, stretch, dance.
Resting
You must give yourselves time to renew and recharge on all levels especially during the holidays.
Awareness
Remaining Spiritually aware. There are messages on the way. Remain open to them.

This doesn’t mean keep your chakras wide open, quite the opposite, it means higher awareness. Be ready.

for a change. When you do this you are better able to help others.
Self Love is the greatest gift you can give yourself.
The key for the coming month is GRATITUDE. As we bring this rollercoaster of a year to a close, it is time to look back and give thanks for all that we have come through. To give thanks for the many lessons we have learned, the many wonderful exchanges we have had with new and old friends and family, and the adventures we have had. It is a time to invite our Ancestors to our feast table giving thanks to them, for theirs are the footsteps we follow and we are grateful to them for the continual guidance they continue to give us. If you find Christmas too much, just close your eyes and silently give thanks for all the little things; the roof over your head, safe clean air and water, the food on your table, companionship etc. This will help to keep you above the mass materialism and keep you linked in to the higher energies.
