MAY Updates

A quick note about the so-called Swine Flu
Try not to get sucked into the fear being perpetuated by your government and its media. This is yet another pharma con. Remember Avian Bird flu? It never did turn into the pandemic they tried to frighten us with, no reason why this one should either. (It's also interesting that certain US congressmen have in the past couple of weeks bought shares in the company making Tamiflu! - Even though a European study during the Bird flu scare found it to be useless).
What next - Camel flu? Penguin flu? Kitty cat flu? Yes some people have it, they are usually Mexicans or people who have recently been to Mexico. Please remember that because it is so polluted, Mexico has a longer flu season than other countries. It is not unusual for there to be a flu outbreak at this time in Mexico. Also some of the deaths have not definitely been confirmed as Swine Flu, several of them were already in poor health and then got flu. Read between the lines and don't believe everything that you hear or see in the media.


We have been discussing this on various health and herbal forums that I belong to, here are some suggestions:-

Ensure everyone washes their hands after using bathrooms especially when shared by lots of other people.

Stay away from those who have colds or flu, and tell them to stay away too! (Nothing worse than people like this going to work and spreading infection, they think they are heroes, I think they are idiots).

Choose not to get ill. Absolutely, completely and utterly refuse to fall for this. (Use EFT, the tapping therapy to help you with this, it only takes a couple of minutes). In the meantime, you can protect your immune with:-

Folk Medicines and Herbs to use and avoid with Bird/Swine Flu

Below is a list of foods that are said to contain substances that are natural antivirals, immune boosters or they decrease cytokines TNF-a and IL-6.Alternative medications that are most likely to help us during a severe pandemic:

Garlic (allicin) - Very effective antiviral. Best if fresh (raw) and crushed. Must be consumed within 1 hour of crushing. Dosage is initially 2 to 3 cloves per day but later reduce until no body odour occurs. No toxic effects noted. (Pubmed PMID 9049657)
Vitamin C - Boosts the immune system and is an antiviral by blocking the enzyme neuraminadase. Viruses need neuraminadase to reproduce. There are anecdotal stories of people taking large amounts of Vitamin C (children ½ surviving the Spanish Flu. Research shows that it may reduce the production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. A study on 470 people involved giving the test group 1000 mg hourly for 6 hours and then 1000 mg 3 times daily after reporting flu symptoms. Symptoms decreased by 85%. (Pubmed PMID 10543583, 634178, 16169205, 12876306)
Green Tea (possible Tamiflu/Relenza alternative)- Very effective antiviral. Also decreases the production of the cytokine (catechins) TNF-a. Inhibits neuraminidase. May have antiviral activity that is equal to other antivirals such as Tamiflu. (Pubmed PMID 16137775)
St Johns Wort (Hypericum) - Very effective antiviral. Also decreases the production of the cytokine IL-6. Hypericum is an extract from St John’s Wort. There have been some very successful field trials in commercial flocks infected with H5N1 in Vietnam. (Pubmed PMID 7857513, 11518071, 11362353, 7857513, 11518071)
Vitamin E - Immune booster. Also decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. (Pubmed PMID 155882360, 10929076) Experiments involved using mice. Very suitable for immune compromised people, especially the elderly. Effects enhanced when taken with Vitamin C.Apple Juice - Antiviral. Fresh apple juice including the pulp and skin has greater antiviral activity than heated commercial apple juice. More research is needed. Effectiveness on H5N1 is unknown. (Pubmed PMID 32832, 12452634)
Resveratrol - Antiviral. In addition to inhibiting neuraminidase, Resveratrol also sends a message to cells to stop manufacturing viruses. This is a proven antiviral found naturally in red wine, peanuts, mulberries, Japanese Knotwood root (richest source), raisins and red grapes. Resveratrol supplements are relatively inexpensive, are more stable than wine and is available in liquid form for absorption in the mouth. No toxic effects noted. (Pubmed PMID 1583880, 12817628, 15985724)
Scuttellaria (Skullcap) - Antiviral. A herb used as a tea. It has no side effects and is also a mild tranquilliser. Research suggests neuraminidase, which is a substance needed by the H5N1 virus to reproduce, may be inhibited.
Cranberry Juice - Early research shows that it may be an antiviral, making viruses less able to invade or multiply. Effectiveness on H5N1 is unknown. (Pubmed PMID15781126).
Elly Note: Check the label, some cranberry drinks are more sugar than cranberry.
Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) - Decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. Also boosts immune system. The number of white blood cells was significantly increased during treatment. No toxicity was noted. (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search&DB=pubmed) Active constituents can be found in the leaves, bark, vine, and roots. Water extraction from bark used. Children and pregnant women are to avoid. Has a potentially damaging effect on the DNA of proliferating cells. (cancers, foetuses, growing children)
Curcumin (Turmeric spice) - Decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. This is the yellow compound in turmeric spice. Research shows that this may be very good for preventing a cytokine storm although this is not proven. Must be taken with food or gastritis or peptic ulcers may occur. Pregnant women and feeding mothers should avoid this. The medicinal properties of curcurnin cannot be utilised when used alone due to rapid metabolism in the liver and intestinal wall. When combined with Piperine found in black pepper the absorption is increased with no adverse effects. Obtainable from health stores in tablets, liquid, capsules already combined with piperine. Dosage is 500mg to 4000mg daily.
Astragalus root (Astragali Radix) - Boosts immune system. (Pubmed PMID15588652) –
(Elly Note: however do not use if you already have any kind of infection, as the Chinese say it is like “feeding the wolf at the door.”
Tea tree Steam Inhalation - Reduces the cytokine TNF-a. Add 2 drops of tea tree oil in a bowl of steaming water. Cover head with a towel and inhale for 5 to 10 minutes. Relieves congestion and fights infection. Its effectiveness is unknown. (Pubmed PMID 11131302)

Elly Note: I also recommend pure Propolis if you feel a sore throat coming on. Squirt a couple of drops down your throat and by the next day all symptoms will be gone.

Homeopathy that is effective: Gelsemium and Bryonia are very commonly found homeopathics that worked during the 1918 flu epidemic. Match your symptoms to the one that you need and don’t mix and match or use combinations (unless your homeopath recommends this) usually they work better as a single treatment.

The following substances may be best to AVOID during a H5N1 pandemic

Elderberry juice (Sambucal) - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. This substance is very effective against the common flu but may not be desirable for the H5N1 virus. Increases in these cytokines may trigger a lethal cytokine storm. (Isr Med Journal2002 Nov;4:944-6)
Micro Algae (Chlorella and Spirulina) - AVOID - Increases production of cytokine TNF-a. (Pubmed PMID 11731916)
Honey - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. (Pubmed PMID12824009)
Chocolate - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. (Pubmed PMID 12885154, PMID 10917928)
Echinacea - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. Although it is often used for normal flu, research shows that it may increase the chance of cytokine storms for H5N1. (Pubmed PMID 15556647, 9568541)
Kimchi - AVOID - Increases production of cytokines TNF-a and IL-6. (Pubmed PMID15630182)

BACK TO THE UPDATES

More Beings are crossing over (animal as well as human) and choosing to leave the Earth dimension. They have done what they needed to do and are ready to move on now. (I didn’t realise when I wrote this a few weeks ago, how prophetic this sentence was going to be for our house, we had three deaths in the space of a week). You may therefore be feeling grief energy on a mass as well as personal level.

A NOTE FOR WOMEN
The dark energies have been attacking again, (the Swine flu hype is a perfect example ), but also it has come to my attention that many women are feeling ‘attacked’ by men and male figures in their lives. The dark forces are attacking the Feminine in whatever way they can. This has been going on for much of the year. As the inner Feminine grows in strength and shows that outwardly (just look at what women are doing in public and standing up for these days) so the dark forces through the masculine seek to undermine and destroy (once again) the Feminine. However, they are fighting a losing battle. The Feminine cannot be defeated for this is Her time. She has come to teach about true Partnership with the male. The dark forces do not want Her to achieve Her goal. They want separation to continue, the masses are so much easier to control when they are in a state of separation. The last thing the dark forces want is unity amongst the masses.

Which is why it can be really hard for some women at the moment, (particularly the highly evolved Spiritual ones, the ones who carry a lot of Feminine energy). This is being played out by you/woman/the Feminine, being ‘attacked’ by the males you love most who are in your personal circle. This can be quite a shock, as it seems totally out of character, they have never acted like this before, so what on earth is going on? They are being used. And because men in general are still trying to find their feet and place in the New World, in the new order of things, they are very vulnerable and that is when the dark forces can get in and use them. Your men therefore need protection, to be showered in Light and your love. That is not easy to do when you are in bits after yet another row/’attack’/whatever. You might be feeling heartbroken and incredibly sad and your aura may feel like it’s been blown apart. It is imperative however, that you do not allow yourself to feel a victim and go down that slippery slope. You have to find the Warrior Woman within to gather your strength. You need to talk to your Wise Woman within to see the bigger picture of what is going on and realise that it isn’t personal, it isn’t about you, it is something that is happening on a much bigger scale. Give reassurance where you can and restore balance and harmony within your personal circle as quickly as you can after such an event.

All will be well, and this phase won’t be long lasting. One of the keys to coping with this, is to gently communicate how you feel about what is happening, they may not understand at first, but it is important that they realise what they are doing and how it is affecting the women around them. Gently stand in your power and refuse to be treated in this way. Focus on harmony and love being restored and seeing your personal circle protected by a gold circle of light.

Use your ‘Cleanser’ spray to cleanse your aura and chakras and the room it happened in. Use another spray such as ‘Angels of Joy’ to bring in the lighter, higher vibrations and take some essences internally. You can also use Tibetan Tingshas to space clear and raise the vibratory rate of the room (and it’s lovely to use these up and down your chakras).



ASCENSION SYMPTOMS
Some of you have already experienced these symptoms and some will continue to do so.
As I have said before, we are on the same path but at different stages, so just take what feels right for you now, and keep the rest as future reference.




Ascension symptoms should be lessening now as we become more used to our new Lightbodies, and then along comes another energy surge and/or astrological hit that knocks us for six and we feel absolutely knackered again! Some of you may find it difficult to be on the computer for too long as you feel as if it is draining you and making you sleepy.

The Veil of Illusion has been busy again bringing us clarity and being able to see people and situations more clearly. This can at times be shocking and bring up feelings of disappointment, as we realise that something or someone is not what they seemed to be and it is time to let go of them. They no longer are a vibrational match for you so you need to move away from it/them.

Inside there is a deep sense of preparation, of getting organised for something, only we’re not sure quite what that is yet, but we continue with the preparations anyway. It is like we are positioning ourselves in readiness.

Those of you who have been holding back, content to work in the background, may now find yourselves being called forward. You may resist as you do not want to be centre front, it makes you feel exposed and vulnerable. You thought this wouldn’t happen until next year. But for some you are needed now and will continue to be drawn out this year as people request your help and services. Do not resist this; it is what you came here to do; now it is your turn to truly be of service using your skills and talents in a way that benefits you and All Our Relations.

The key is finding peace during the dark and disturbing times. Becoming the quite centre of the hurricane that may be going on around you. Quietly going into your centre as often as you need to despite whatever is going on around you. This is a useful technique to use if you feel afraid or worried, simply go to your centre and softly repeat the Aum or another favourite chant to yourself over and over, within seconds you will feel better, you will feel more centred and calm and less afraid/worried. Obviously if you are driving you car you need to be careful, but when the car stops at the lights, you can do this (you don’t need to close your eyes) until the lights change, in those few seconds you will have changed your vibration and will feel better as you continue your journey.

Tiredness
Earth Sensitives have feeling quite dizzy due to the continuous earthquakes and volcanic eruptions lately.
Exhaustion together with a sense of futility comes and goes as we adjust to yet more energy extremes. Old Souls have been feeling weary again through this phase and feel as if they have had enough, but hang on; you will come through it, just as you have come through so much in the past. Remember you are a Warrior of the Light; you have what it takes to ride these changes. Once through this the energies become lighter, happier, and freer. To deal with this phase, get out into sunlight as often as you can and let Grandfather Sun’s warm rays re-energise and strengthen you.
Stay away from anyone or anything that drains you, watch less TV and do less computer work.

Dreaming
Continues to provide interesting insights and premonitions. I hope you are writing these down. This is an incredible year for Dream work – I have never known one like it!

Aches and pains
Headaches and neckaches are back, together with hay-fever like symptoms that cause irritation in your nose, eyes and throat. You may also feel wheezy in your chest, again another energy symptom; avoid dairy produce if you can until this phase clears (usually only a couple of days).

Skin Problems
Skin problems are back with increased sensitivity for some folks. During these phases be careful what you eat and drink as certain substances can aggravate this. Drink plenty of water to flush out any toxins that may be in your system. Be careful what you put on your skin until you have passed through this phase.

Meditation
Communication with the higher realms is becoming clearer, meditation practice can be reinstated now as you will find it much easier to focus and find stillness.

Chakra issues
The Crown chakra and your fontanel continue to be sensitive. For some folks the Heart and Solar Plexus chakras have taken quite a bashing. Every day place your hands over each chakra and visualise the colour of the chakra flooding it and enjoy the warmth from your hands as you send healing to the chakra. Allow a few minutes for each chakra, this allows it to balance itself before you move on to the next one.

Protection (Aura and Chakras)
Every day before you leave your house ensure you have your protection in place (even if you only have time to quickly squirt your aura with ‘The Protector’). There are a lot of chaotic energies around at the moment which are causing the masses to project left, right and centre, and you don’t want any of their projections.


FOCUS FOR THE MONTH AHEAD:

PEACE
Breathe in Peace. Breathe out Peace. Do this several times a day.
If you feel afraid, simply repeat to yourself “I choose Peace”.
Detoxing
Continue to gently cleanse on all levels. Drink plenty of good quality water.
Think good peaceful thoughts.
LOVING
Be more loving to yourself and others. Everyone is feeling it right now. Focus on your heart centre
And feel deep pink light fill it. Be gentle with yourself, your heart and All Beings.
TRUST
Now more than ever keep the trust going. The Universe is always on your side. Be clear and careful what you are thinking and saying, remember the Universe is listening! Trust your inner guidance to show you the way. The Universe has so many wonderful things for you.

The key for the coming month is BREATHING. Many of you have recently found that life has been soooooo busy! You have been juggling so many things, people, situations etc that you wonder if you can cope. Several times a day just stop. Close your eyes. And check where your breath is in your body. (When we rush and stress our breath gets stuck high in our chest and we end up shallow breathing). Now take a few slow, deep breaths as you aim to drop the breath back into the belly. Soft, gentle, belly breathing. It only takes a couple of minutes and does wonders for you on the inside and the outside!
